This Sunday I’ll share part 2 of my new series of Lenten messages entitled, “The Healing Power of Christ.”  Each week we’re taking a Biblical look at various healing encounters Jesus had with people and seek to apply these situations to our own lives.  This Sunday we’ll focus on the healing story of “The Man with the Withered Hand” found in Mark 3:1-6.

A Pastor’s Welcome Class is also being held this Sunday at 9:45 A.M. in my office.  This class is for those interested in membership and for those who simply want to know more about Grace.

Thank you for your very generous contributions to the 30 Hour Famine.   Approximately $1000.00 was received to help feed hungry people around the world.  In addition, participants made 35 pillow cases for kids in foster care and also sandwiches to feed the congregation following the worship service on February 23^rd.   Thank you also to Oneida Ortiz for cooking the “break the fast” meal at the conclusion of their 30 hour famine.

We will continue to receive our America for Christ Offering during the month of March.  Please give prayerfully and generously to help us reach our goal of $2,675.00.  The theme of the offering this year is “Seek Justice” based on Isaiah 1:17.  Offering envelopes were included in the March newsletter and can also be found at the Welcome Center and chair backs in the sanctuary.
