Encouraging All Participants to Grow Spiritually
This Sunday I will continue my series of messages designed to introduce us to our new Vision Statement for 2014 based on the word BECOME. Last Sunday we focused on the first letter in BECOME which stands for “Becoming a Missional Church.” This Sunday we’ll tackle the second letter with a message entitled, “Encouraging All Participants to Grow Spiritually.”
Are you growing spiritually? Do you desire to grow spiritually? If so, there are three things that we should all be doing. Come this Sunday and hear all about them!
A Baptism Class for young people will be held this Sunday morning during the Sunday School hour. Any young person, who has decided to be baptized, or simply wants to learn more about it, is invited to join us in my office at 9:45 A.M.
The February Newsletter will be available this Sunday in your mailbox or you may read it on-line at www.gbcbb.org.
Sign up this Sunday at the Welcome Center for Super Bowl Bowling on Sunday, February 2. Read all about it in the February issue of Grace Notes.
All men of the church, teens and older, are invited to the Men of Grace Breakfast tomorrow, January 25th at 8:30 A.M. The cost is $5.00. Our special guest speaker will be our own Dr. Gordon Ijelu who will speak on “Men’s Health Issues.” Please contact Harry Jenkins if you would like to attend.
See you Sunday!
