A Memorial Service will be held for Noel Jackson tomorrow, March 22, here at Grace at 11:00 A.M.  You are invited to attend and to keep his family, especially his wife Eva, in your prayers.

 

This Sunday I’ll share part 3 of my Lenten series of messages entitled “The Healing Power of Christ.”  This Sunday we’ll focus on “The Healing of the Gerasene Demoniac” found in Mark 5:1-20.  Here was a man who was at war with himself, with other people and with God.  Sometimes we find ourselves in similar circumstances.  Join us this Sunday as we discover how Jesus can lead us out of these situations and turn our lives around.

 

We will continue to receive our America for Christ Offering during the month of March.  Please give prayerfully and generously to help us reach our goal of $2,675.00.  Gifts so far total $720.00 so we still have a long way to go!  If you haven’t given yet please do so as soon as possible by using the offering envelope included in the March newsletter or at the Welcome Center and chair backs in the sanctuary.

I will be offering a Baptism Class on Sunday, March 30 at 9:45 A.M. in my office.  Young people ages 12 through 12^th graders are invited to participate.  We are planning to observe the ordinance of Believer’s Baptism on Palm Sunday, April 13 during our worship service.

 

The next Boss Event is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 5:30 P.M.  The Youth group will help serve at the CCATE fundraising Dinner.  Meet at the church at 5:00 P.M. to go together to the dinner.  Pick up at Grace Baptist by 9:30 P.M.  Remember to wear black and white for serving!
