GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH’S ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING will be held in person and virtually on Sunday, May 19 following the worship service. As a congregation, we will meet to share news about the life of our church. The Annual Report will be available for review prior to May 19. New officers and board members will be elected (see below) and other church business discussed. Plan now to attend and participate. IMPORTANT: All current officers, board chairs, committees and teams should have their individual or group annual report submitted to the church office for copying by Sunday, May 5. Contact the office with any questions.
AT THE ANNUAL MEETING, the 2025 slate of officers and board members will be submitted by the Nominating Committee for congregational approval. Positions still open: Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Adult Curriculum Coordinator, and one more person for the Board of Christian Education. If you wish to serve in any of these positions, please contact any member of the Nominating Committee (Tamra Phillips, Pastor David, David Shaw, Patrick Rodgers, Jeanne Hanna, Amanda Stauffer, Kristin Paluszka).
6th-12th GRADERS AND COLLEGE STUDENTS, sign up now for our Spring Weekend Getaway, May 10-12, at Camp Ichthus! Fun (hiking, capture the Flag, water balloons, etc.) and work (landscaping and painting to prep the camp for this summer). Email GraceStudents437@gmail.com to register.
WE EXTEND CHRISTIAN SYMPATHY to the family and friends of Bryan Dodds, a Grace Baptist member who died in mid-April. Bryan was a gifted electrician, plumber and HVAC specialist who often gave of his time to assist our trustees with electrical and other building repair issues. A memorial service for Bryan will be held today, May 5, at 3pm in the sanctuary. The church family is welcome to share this time with Bryan’s family.

COMMUNITY CUPBOARD DONATIONS: Drop off at 150 N. Main St., Ambler (Tues, Thurs, and Fri 9am-2pm) or at church during office hours. Not needed at this time: cereal, canned veggies (of any kind), tuna, peanut butter, soup. Donations requested as of May 1: breakfast bars, flour, granola bars, graham crackers, juice, mayonnaise, mustard, oatmeal, raisins, sugar, water, body lotion, bathroom cleanser, dish soap, flushable wipes, poise pads, tall kitchen bags, toothpaste. No bulk or extra-large size items, please.
