Another Snow Filled Week!

The bad news is…it’s been another snow filled week with even more expected today!  The good news is…our power is back on here at church, as is our heat, and we are planning to worship together tomorrow here at Grace!  One of the highlights of the service will be the opportunity to witness the baptisms of Janiel and Monique Slowly, daughters of Mike and Marcia Slowly, as they publically declare the faith in Christ in the waters of baptism.  I’m also looking forward to continuing my series of messages on our new vision statement with a sermon entitled, “Organizing for Growth.”  I’ll be sharing some of the key ingredients that will help our church move forward in the future.  I hope you’ll plan to be with us!

We will continue to receive the Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering this Sunday and next.  Please give generously to help us reach our goal of $2500.00.

Our young people will participate in the 30 Hour Famine for two days, starting next Friday, February 21st.  They will be raising funds to fight hunger around the world and they need your help.  You can support their efforts to reach their goal of $840.00 by sponsoring them and making out a check to “Grace Baptist Church” and writing “30 Hour Famine” in the memo line.  Please help them “Release the Feast”!

A kid’s winter party will be held on Saturday, February 22nd from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M. here at Grace Baptist.  All kids, ages 3-10 are invited to come and celebrate winter!

Blessings,

Pastor George
