Whitpain Township will hold a virtual Mermaid Lake Master Site Plan meeting (Public Meeting #1) on Monday, January 25, 7-9pm.  Call in by phone at 1-301-715-8592.  Webinar ID: 872 7355 0236, passcode: 801663.  In July 2020 Whitpain Township purchased the 63.5 acres Mermaid Lake property to provide passive and active recreational opportunities for township residents.  All members of the community are invited to participate in the master plan process and to help create a vision for the new park.  Participants at this first public meeting will be encouraged to share their ideas on potential future facilities and desired improvements.
