From The Pastor: 7/19/14: Workers come Home

Dear Friends,

The Reach Workcampers are on their way back from Monroe, NC today after a wonderful week of ministry and fellowship. Please keep them in your prayers. Next Sunday, July 27th we’ll hear a full report of their efforts. Don’t miss it!

Join us for worship at 9:30 A.M. this Sunday, July 20th as I share a message entitled, “Just a Little Faith Will Due” based on Luke 17:5-6. Barbara Green will be back at the organ and our soloist will be Carolyn Paulin.

The Mattie Dixon Community Cupboard would like to thank Grace Baptist Church for the generous donations during this special summer time of need. The Cupboard, however, is still very low in food resources at this time and continued donations are appreciated. The following items are still needed:

Juice boxes for kids, pancake mix, pancake syrup, bottled water, bar soap, toilet paper and fruit cups. They are also in need of some small appliances, toasters, toaster ovens, microwaves and pots & pans that are gently used. In their free clothing boutique they are in need of kids clothing for summer, size 6x to junior (boy and girl), men’s dress pants and causal shirts (summer or winter) and women’s extra-large and plus size tops. Also, the pantry is in need of folding shopping carts to walk food items from the pantry to client homes. If you can donate a used or new cart it would be greatly appreciate

See You in Church,

Pastor George
