Dear Friends,

Many thanks to our young people and their leaders who did a fantastic job last Sunday reporting on their recent mission trip to Monroe, NC. Above all, thank you for making a difference in the lives of the people you served there.

This Sunday, The Miracles Gospel Quintet will share in our morning worship service. Their music is always a blessing and you won’t want to miss them. Church members Larry Davis and Bob Allmond are both singers in this group.

In the aftermath of the horrific carjacking in Philadelphia, I’ll be speaking this Sunday on the subject “Facing the Storms of Life” based on Revelation 1:9-20. The book of Revelation was written to people who were suffering severe persecution and I believe that we can learn from it how to better handle the storms we encounter in life.
