Dear Friends,

This Sunday is Rally Day at Grace Baptist and I want to use this issue of Grace Baptist Update to highlight several important things:

First, please note that our fall schedule will begin with Sunday school at 9:30 and worship at 10:45.

Second, I hope you’re planning to attend our Rally Day family brunch beginning at 9:30 A.M. Please bring a brunch dish (one per family) to share. Also, each family member is asked to bring their favorite recipe to contribute to the Grace Baptist Church Meals Bring Families Together cookbook. During brunch we’ll share our favorite memories and enjoy some delicious food. Don’t miss it!

One more thing…please mark your calendar for September 14th and plan to attend our first Mission Day. Adult Sunday School will finish the “Meet the Board” series with “Meet the Mission Board” highlighting the missions we support. During worship our guest speaker will be Barbara Bolick, ABC missionary to Chile. After worship you’re invited to a Missions Fair/Luncheon where you can see exhibits for many local, national and international missions.

Sunday is going to be a big day at Grace Baptist and I hope you’ll make every effort to be with us.

P.S. This past week, Trish Simpson and I delivered school supplies (including a large number of backpacks) to Shady Grove Elementary School for those children in need. Thank you to Casey Stauffer for organizing this effort and thank you all for your generous donations.
