Dear Friends,

Most people in the world today are seeking peace…peace with their neighbors, peace with themselves, and peace with God.  The problem is that we let the wrong things rob us of our peace.  We’ll talk about that this Sunday as we delve into the subject, “Peace with God” based on Exodus 17:3-7 and Romans 5:1-11.  Special music will be provided by Amy Bocklet and Kate Stremme as they share a duet with us.  We will also be celebrating the Lord’s Supper.  I hope you’ll join us.

This Sunday, May 1, at 7:00 P.M., everyone is invited to enjoy an evening of sacred music presented by the Christian Artists Singers.  A free will offering will benefit the summer youth mission trip and light refreshments will follow the concert.  This is the final performance of this choir that will be disbanding after many years of sharing God’s love in music.

On Sunday, May 8, we will receive the Baby Manna Offering to help feed local impoverished babies.  100% of the money collected will be used by the Greater Philadelphia Food Bank to purchase infant formula and baby food which will be available to 700 member feeding agencies in the Philadelphia five-county area.  There will be special offering envelopes in your bulletin on the 8th for your participation in this effort.

The Annual Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, May 15, at 9:30 A.M. in the sanctuary.  The Nominating Committee will recommend a slate of officers and board members for the vote of the congregation, and copies of the 2015 Annual Report will be available.  We encourage all Grace Baptist Church members to attend and participate in the business of the church.
