From the Pastor – April 6, 2017

Dear Friends,

This Sunday is Palm Sunday and our Sanctuary Choir will be presenting “Worthy Is the Lamb”, a walk through Holy Week, at our 10:45 worship service.  It’s going to be a wonderful morning of worship and music and I hope you’ll join us.

Don’t miss our Maundy Thursday Sacrificial Supper and Communion Service this coming Thursday, April 13 at 6:30 P.M.  This very special and meaningful time of fellowship and worship will center on the Lord’s Supper as we commemorate Jesus’ final meal with his disciples.  Families with children are encouraged to attend and participate in this special observance.  Please sign up in the narthex this Sunday so that we can adequately prepare for the meal.

Also, you may sign up this Sunday for our Easter Breakfast.  A full breakfast will be served from 9:00 – 9:45 A.M. by the Men of Grace.  Come enjoy the good food and wonderful fellowship!

Our fourth annual Community Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 15, rain or shine.  Please plan to bring your whole family and invite some children you know.   Activities and games begin at 10:30 A.M.  This Sunday is the last day to donate items for the hunt.  We will stuff plastic eggs during the Sunday School hour

We extend Christian sympathy to the Stremme and Paluszka families on the death of Gene’s brother, Lewis Farra, on April 3 in Fort Scott, Kansas.  Please pray for his wife, Polly, their three children, and their families during this time of loss.

See You in Church,

Pastor George
