Dear Friends,

Join us this Sunday as we celebrate the third Sunday in Advent.  This Sunday’s service will feature the cantata, “Sing We Now of Christmas”, presented by our Sanctuary Choir.  This yearly musical tradition is always one of the highlights of the Christmas season and you won’t want to miss it.  Many thanks to Barbara Green and the choir for their dedicated work and for helping us all to focus on the true meaning of Christmas.

This Sunday there will be a Congregational Business Meting following the worship service for the purpose of discussing and voting on the proposed 2016 ministry budget.  The good news is…we have significantly cut the projected $45,000 deficit for next year.  We still, however, need your help to reach our goal and to prevent the cutting back of any ministry programs.  Please contact Don Helpa if you would like to make a pledge or increase your projected pledge.

Our Annual Christmas Program and Dinner is scheduled for Sunday, December 20 at 4 P.M.  After the sing-a-long carols, the Graceland children will present “The Inn Crowd” under the direction of Gene Stremme.  Dinner will follow the program.  The cost is $5 for children 3-12, and children 2 and under are free.  You can make your reservation by completing the bulletin insert this Sunday and giving it to Erica Fitzgerald or Monét Dobrovolec.  It’s going to be a wonderful evening of fellowship, food, and meaningful entertainment so we hope you’ll join us.

This Sunday is the deadline to order your pot pies!  This annual sale of these delicious pies will help to raise funds for our youth group’s 2016 mission trip to Hurricane, WV.  Order forms are available at the Welcome Center.  Your pot Pie orders may be picked up after the worship service on December 20.

Thanks to all who decorated the church so beautifully for the Advent and Christmas season.  We appreciate your willingness to share your creative gifts and your hard work.  Everything looks great!
