From the Pastor – December 17, 2015

Dear Friends,

Join us this Sunday as we observe the fourth Sunday in Advent….Christmas Sunday.  Take time from your hectic Christmas preparations and worship with us as we celebrate the real reason for the season.  I’ll be sharing a message entitled “Does Christmas Really Make a Difference” based on Titus 2:11-14.  Our service will feature music from our Sanctuary Choir, Bell Choir and our Graceland Kids.  Don’t miss it!

Our Annual Christmas Gathering is scheduled for this Sunday, December 20 at 4 P.M.  After the sing-a-long carols, the Graceland children will present “The Inn Crowd” under the direction of Gene Stremme.  Dinner will follow the program.  The cost is $5 for children 3-12, and children 2 and under are free.  If you would like to come to dinner and haven’t made a reservation, please see Erica Fitzgerald or Monét Dobrovolec Sunday morning.  Don’t forget to bring a finger food dessert to share (cookies, brownies, cupcakes, etc.)  It’s going to be a wonderful evening of fellowship, food and meaningful entertainment so we hope you’ll join us.

Don’t forget to pick up your frozen pot pie orders after the worship service this Sunday.

The Community Cupboard in Ambler always needs our food donations.  Please bring your donations to the special wooden box near the church mailboxes on any Sundaymorning.

2016 Offering Envelopes are in church mailboxes.  Envelope boxes for those who do not have church mailboxes will be mailed or delivered.  Thank you for your generous and faithful giving and for helping us significantly cut our projected deficit for next year.

Christmas is only a week away!  Please plan to join us for our very special Christmas Eve worship service next Thursday, December 24th at 7:00 P.M.

Merry Christmas!

Pastor George
