Dear Friends,

Join us this Sunday as we gather for the first worship celebration and first communion service of 2016.  I’ll be sharing a message entitled “Let Your Light Shine” based on John 4:25-42.  It’s going to be a message about the future of our church and how we can all help to make 2016 the best year ever!  What better way to begin a new year than by gathering with your church family in God’s presence for a fantastic time of praise and worship.  Hope to see you Sunday!

We will receive the Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering beginning this Sunday and continuing throughout the month of January.  Please read this Sunday’sbulletin insert for more information about RMMO.  Our church goal is $2,500.  An offering envelope is included in the January newsletter with extras available at the Welcome Center and in chair backs.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR…

You are invited to the Ordination council for Chris Lister on Tuesday, January 12, at 7:30 P.M. in our sanctuary.  Your support of Chris is much appreciated.  The ordination service is scheduled for Sunday, January 24, at 4:00 P.M.  The Rev. Dr. Tony Campolo will bring the ordination message.  All are welcome.

The Next Pastor’s Welcome Class will be held on Sunday, January 17 at 9:45 A.M. in the pastor’s office.  This class is open to anyone who is interested in membership or who is new to Grace and would like to learn more about our church.

Thank you to everyone who helped to make the Christmas season another great blessing here at Grace.  I look forward to sharing a brand new year with you in fellowship, ministry and service.
