Dear Friends,

It was wonderful to be back with you last Sunday!  Thank you for the warm reception I received.  I do appreciate your continued prayers and I am feeling stronger each day.

This Sunday I’ll continue my series, “Growing Strong in Lent”, with a message entitled “Life’s Second Chances” based on Luke 13:6-9.  Do you believe in second chances?  Thankfully, God does!

The Inter-Faith Hospitality Network is coming to Grace Baptist for the month of March.  Many volunteers are needed so sign up this Sunday in the church lobby.

A wonderful Lenten devotional booklet, “Faithful Facts for Lent”, is available at the Welcome Center.  There are just a few copies left so pick up your copy this Sunday.  It will enrich your Lenten journey!

A Retro Game Show Extravaganza will be sponsored by our youth this Saturday, February 27, at 1:00 P.M. here at the church.  “Come on down” and hope you’ll be the next contestant on “The Price Is Right”!  We need you (grown-ups and kids) for audience participation.  You will get a ticket at the door for your chance to be a contestant, and you will have a chance to buy more tickets in exchange for a donation to the summer mission trip to Hurricane, WV.  Feel free to dress appropriately!  Any questions, speak to Kristin or any youth group member.  It’s going to be fun for the whole family and support a great cause so we hope you’ll join us.
