Grace Baptist Update – January 20, 2017

Dear Friends,

This Sunday I’ll begin a two-part message series about forgiveness.  Part one is entitled “Forgiveness:  What Is It?” based on Matthew 18:21-35.  Music will be provided by our Sanctuary Choir, guest organist Gunta Plostnieks and soloist Carolyn Paulin.

Many thanks to Jordan Lichty for his inspiring and timely message last Sunday.  It was a blessing to all!

The Next Pastor’s Welcome Class will be held on January 29 at 9:45 A.M. in my office.  This class is open to anyone who is interested in membership or who is new to Grace and would like to learn more about our church.

Our Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering will continue throughout the month of January.  Our church goal is $2,500.00 and to date we have received $1,370.00.  An offering envelope was included in the January newsletter with extras available at the Welcome Center and in chair backs.

Please keep our mission team in your prayers as they fly to Chile tomorrow.  Irene and Santosh Philips, Marjorie Scharpf, Jeff Ledbetter, Kate Stremme and Linda Lin will be visiting our ABC missionaries Dwight and Barbara Bolick and helping with some very important projects.  They will be returning home on Monday, January 30.
