Grace Baptist Update – January 26, 2017

Dear Friends,

This Sunday I’ll complete a two-part message series about forgiveness.  Part two is entitled “Forgiveness:  How Do We Do It?” based on Matthew 18:21-35.  Music will be provided by our Sanctuary Choir, guest organist Gunta Plostnieks and soloist Steve Longenberger.

The Next Pastor’s Welcome Class will be held this coming Sunday, January 29 at 9:45 A.M. in my office.  This class is open to anyone who is interested in membership or who is new to Grace and would like to learn more about our church.

Our Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering will conclude this Sunday.  Our church goal is $2,500.00 and to date we have received $1,476.  Offering envelopes are available in sanctuary chair backs and at the Welcome Center.  Please help us reach our goal this week!

Please continue to keep our mission team in your prayers.  Irene and Santosh Philips, Marjorie Scharpf, Jeff Ledbetter, Kate Stremme and Linda Lin will be flying home from Chile this coming Monday, January 30.  They have been visiting our ABC missionaries Dwight and Barbara Bolick and helping with some very important projects.

Please note that our Wednesday Bible study will resume this Wednesday, February 1 under my direction.  Many thanks to Doug Hargis for his leadership in the past.  He is currently very busy helping to care for Beth’s mother who is very ill.  Please keep them all in your prayers.
