Dear Friends,

This Sunday we will be Celebrating Our Children!  Our kids will be singing and playing chimes and other instruments.  They will also be participating in other ways to make this a truly special day that you won’t want to miss.  In addition, we will be recognizing the contribution of our wonderful staff of teachers and volunteers who give so much of their time and talents to bless all the students of our church.

Following the service there will be an all-church picnic sponsored by the Board of Christian Education.  Hot dogs and drinks will be provided.  Please bring a side dish to share if you plan to attend.  Don’t forget those chairs and blankets for outdoors!  It’s going to be a great day and we look forward to seeing you.

This Sunday and throughout the month of June we will be collecting our One Great Hour of Sharing Offering.  Proceeds from this important offering will be used by our denomination to meet critical needs in response to disasters here in the United States and around the world. Our church goal is $2,375.  OGHS envelopes are included in the June newsletter and available in the chair racks.

We express our Christian condolences to Melissa Flack and her family following the death of her grandfather earlier this week.  Please keep them all in your prayers.

 Please note that summer church office hours began on May 30: Tuesday–Friday 9:00 A.M.-noon, closed on Mondays.

Our summer worship time begins on Father’s Day, June 18.  Our service will begin at 10:00 A.M. instead of 9:30 A.M. and there will be no Sunday School.
