Dear friends,

Our worship service is at 9:30 A.M. this Sunday as we continue our summer schedule.  There will be no Sunday School before church but Graceland for K-3^rd grade and pre-school childcare will be provided during worship.  My message will be “Finding God” based on Luke 2:21-33.  Special music will be provided by our soloist, Amy Bocklet.

 The One Great Hour of Sharing Offering will conclude this Sunday.  This important offering provides resources to bring disaster relief to those suffering around the globe.  We have collected $876.00 so far so we still have a ways to go to reach our church goal of $2,375. I hope you’ll give generously and prayerfully this Sunday.  Envelopes were available in the June newsletter and are available in sanctuary chair backs and at the Welcome Center.  Or, simply note OGHS on your check.

We extend our thoughts and prayers to Garry Flower and his family following the death of his father, George Flower, on June 16.  George was 89 years old.

Vacation Bible School begins this Sunday and continues through Thursday, June 30, 6:30-8:30 P.M. for pre-school through children who’ve completed 5^th grade.  This summer we will be following Jesus, the light of the world, during Group’s “Cave Quest”.

This Sunday there will be a meeting following worship for anyone interested in participating in a Chile mission trip.
