Dear Friends,

He is risen!  He is risen indeed!  What a wonderful Easter Day we shared here at Grace last Sunday.  A large crowd gathered on a beautiful day as we celebrated Christ’s resurrection.  I want to thank a number of people who helped to make it such a memorable day.

First, thank you to Bob Stremme, Chris Lister and the men’s group for cooking and serving a wonderful breakfast.  I think many more people turned out than we expected, but there was plenty of food and great fellowship to go around.  It was a wonderful way to begin the day!

Second, I want to thank Barbara Green and the Sanctuary Choir, the Bell Choir, the Praise Team and Gene Stremme and the Children’s Choir for the incredible music of the day.  Your efforts and hard work really added immeasurably to making it a special day.  Thank you so much for sharing your talents.

This coming Sunday, April 3, the newly ordained Chris Lister will be preaching.  His message is entitled “Juicy Fruit” based on Acts 13:13-22.  I hope that you’ll be with us as we continue our celebration of Christ’s resurrection.
