Dear Friends,

Join us this Sunday as we are reminded of the reasons for Memorial Day.  It is a day to honor our patriots and heroes.  We remember their sacrifices.  We remember their final good-byes.  We also remember the freedom they purchased for us.  I hope you’ll join us for this very special service of worship as I share a message, “Some Things We Should Never Forget”, based on John 15:13.

The June Newsletter will be available in church mailboxes this Sunday and is also available for viewing on the church website.

Our Summer Office Hours begin this coming Tuesday, May 30.  Our office will be open from Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon.  Please feel free to leave a message on our office phones anytime.

Don’t forget that our new Summer Worship Schedule starts on Father’s Day, June 18 with worship beginning at 10:00 A.M. instead of 9:30 A.M.

Thank you to all who attended our church’s Annual Meeting last Sunday morning.  If you haven’t yet read the Annual Report, there are extra copies available at the Welcome Center.  Pick yours up this Sunday!  Among other business, we voted on new officers and board members.  One more person is needed, however, to serve on the Board of Christian Education.  If you are interested, please contact Carolyn Paullin.

Thank you for your donations for Blanket Sunday.  Over $400.00 was collected last Sunday and will be sent to Church World Service.
