Dear Friends,

Join us this Sunday for Mother’s Day.  It’s going to be a busy and wonderful day!  I will be sharing a message entitled “A Mother and Her Son” based on Matthew 12:46-50.  It’s never been easy being a mother and I’m sure it wasn’t easy for Mary, the mother of Jesus.  We’ll talk about the challenges she faced and how she dealt with them.  We can learn a lot from her example!  Carolyn Paullin and Sue Jenkins will be sharing a duet, and we’ll also be welcoming our newest members, Marie and Bernard Donnelly.

Also this Sunday we’ll receive our special Mother’s Day offering, Baby Manna, which helps feed impoverished babies in our local area.  100% of the money collected will be used to purchase infant formula and baby food which will be available to 700 member feeding agencies in the Philadelphia five-county area.  There will be a Baby Manna offering envelope in your bulletin this Sunday.

 Our Annual Congregational Business Meeting will be held on Sunday, May 15 at 9:30 A.M.  Our children and young people will have Sunday School as usual, but all adults are invited to join us in the sanctuary for this important meeting.  Copies of the Annual Report will be available before the meeting.

May 15 is also Music Sunday here at Grace and we’ll be honoring all those who freely share their musical gifts and talents and add immeasurably to our worship services and programs.  A reception will be held following the worship service.
