Dear Friends,

This Sunday I’ll be sharing a message entitled, “What Kind of Disciple Are You?” based on Matthew 4:18-23.  Are you growing in your faith?  Are you serving and using your gifts and your resources and your time to help build this church for the glory of God?  These are vitally important questions that we’ll confront this Sunday.  Special music will be provided by our Sanctuary Choir and soloist, Amy Bocklet.

Our World Mission Offering is being collected during the month of October.  Our church’s goal is $2500.00.  As was announced last Sunday, we got off to a slow start so if you haven’t given yet, please do so this Sunday!  Offering envelopes are included in the October newsletter and are in the sanctuary chair backs and at the Welcome Center.  We need everyone’s support!

Our Annual All-Church Hayride has been rescheduled for Friday, October 21 at Merrymead Farm.  The tractor leaves at 6:00 P.M. and the cost is $10.00 per person.  It’s going to be a night of fun for the whole family and we hope you’ll join us.  Hopefully, we won’t get rained out this time!
