Dear Friends,

It’s stewardship time and this Sunday I’ll be sharing the first in a three-part series of messages entitled “Stewardship Basics:  Attitude.”  Music will be provided by our Praise Team, Sanctuary Choir and soloist, Sue Jenkins.  It’s going to be another wonderful time of worship and fellowship and I hope you’ll join us.

This Sunday we conclude our World Mission Offering.  Thus far we have collected $1,340.00 toward our goal of $2,500.00.  We still have a ways to go but I am confident that if everyone participates in this important offering we will reach and even surpass our goal.  Let us join together with other American Baptist churches across the country to touch as many lives for Christ as we can.

Please pick up a shoebox (you have to put it together) to fill for Operation Christmas Child!  There will be instructions in this week’s bulletin and our deadline for return is November 12.  Please help if you can.

Care Packages will be sent to our Grace Baptist college students in November and we need your help.  Please bring in your donations of candy, ramen noodles, easy mac, and other treats college students might like and place on the marked table in the church lobby.  Our deadline is November 3.
