Grace Baptist Update – September 2, 2016

 This Sunday, September 4 will be our last 9:30 worship service for the summer.  On September 11 (Rally Day) we will resume our regular schedule with worship beginning at 10:45.  This Sunday I’ll be talking about the most potent power source available to us as Christians as I share a message entitled “Mountain Moving Prayer” based on Mark 11:23-24.  We will also be observing the Lord’s Supper and special music will be provided by Larry Davis.  Hope you’ll join us!

Faith-in-Action Sunday is coming on September 25.  As always, we have many wonderful opportunities for ministry in our community lined up for that day.  Sign-ups will begin this Sunday in the church lobby and descriptions of each ministry opportunity will be available on a bulletin insert.  It is our hope and prayer that everyone who is able will get involved and help us to make this another successful day of outreach and service.

This Sunday is the last collection day for school supplies for Shady Grove Elementary students.  Please place your items in the box in the narthex.  Don’t forget the book collection for Bruce Outlook Center!
