From the Pastor – September 23, 2016

Dear Friends,

This Sunday is Faith in Action Day.  It has become our yearly practice to cancel our worship service on this day and to participate in a variety of projects to serve the people of our community.  So, “Don’t Go to Church” this Sunday…”Be the Church!”

Thank you to all of our project leaders and all who have signed up for a specific ministry this Sunday.  A big thanks to our Faith in Action leader, Betty Helpa, and her assistant, Don.  Every year they do a tremendous job of lining up projects and giving all of us the opportunity to get involved in ways that will make a difference.

It’s going to be another great day!  Close to 100 people have already signed up to participate!  Thank you all for a great response!  If you haven’t signed up for a project yet, contact Betty Helpa.  I’m sure she’d be happy to tell you about the projects that still have openings.

I hope you have a wonderful day on Sunday and I look forward to seeing you back in church on October 2 as we celebrate this year’s Faith in Action Day.

Blessings,

Pastor George
