Dear Friends,

Join us this Sunday as we celebrate another Faith in Action weekend…and what a great weekend it was!  The beautiful weather provided a wonderful backdrop to all of the service projects that we participated in.  During worship we’ll show some highlights of the weekend and share a few reports on what was accomplished.  I’ll be preaching a message entitled “People Loving People” based on Luke 7:1-10.

Our World Mission Offering will be collected during the month of October beginning this Sunday.  Our church’s goal is $2,500.00.  Offering envelopes are included in the October newsletter, in the sanctuary chair backs and at the Welcome Center.  Let us join together and seek to surpass our goal as we support our mission efforts around the globe.

There will be a kids bowling outing this Sunday at Facenda-Whitaker Lanes in East Norriton from 2:30-5:00 P.M.  A pizza lunch will be held after our morning service before departing for the bowling alley.  Cost is $10.00.  Contact Casey if you haven’t signed up your child yet.

Our Annual All-Church Hayride is coming!  Join us on October 8 at Merrymead Farm.  The tractor leaves at 6:00 P.M. and the cost is $10.00 per person.

Please keep Pat Mathues and her family in your prayers as they mourn the loss of her mother, Edith Kelly, on Sunday, September 25.  A funeral will be held this Saturday in Buckhannon, West Virginia and a memorial service will be held at Elm Terrace Gardens on October 22 at 10:00 A.M.
