It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

December 6, 2013
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  I walked into the church today and the Narthex and the Sanctuary were beautifully decorated for the Christmas season.  Thank you to all who gave of their time and talents to make our church look so beautiful.  From the tree to the wreaths to the banners…it all looks wonderful and will be a blessing to everyone.  Thank you all!

Make your reservation for our annual Christmas program and dinner on December 22nd at 4:00 P.M.  This special annual event is for the whole family and will feature the children of Grace presenting the Christmas mini-musical, “Beneath the Shining Star”, as well as story telling by Bob Stremme, carol singing and a visit from Santa.  You can sign up in the Narthex this Sunday or call the church office and indicate your choice of meal.  Salad and rolls will accompany the meal.  Dessert donations are requested.

This Sunday is the second Sunday of Advent and I’ll continue my series, “All I Want for Christmas is…”, with a message on peace.  Join us as we sing the beautiful hymns of Christmas, hear the familiar story, and prepare our hearts and minds for the coming of the Christ Child.

A Baptism Class will be held for young people on December 15th during Sunday School in the Pastor’s office. Any Jr. or Sr. High young people who have not been baptized are invited to attend.
