Dear Friends,

 

Don’t forget!  We began our summer schedule last Sunday!  Worship now begins at 9:30 A.M.  Childcare will be provided during worship.  This Sunday I’ll begin a brief series of messages entitled “Lord, Teach Us to Pray.”  Part one is called “The Kingdom for Which We Long,” based on Matthew 13:31-33, 44-52.  Special music will be provided by Amy Bocklet.  We will also have the privilege of welcoming three new members into our church family:  Christopher Lister, Ive Ortiz and Anna Yatsko.

 

We will also hear a report this Sunday from the women who attended the American Baptist Women’s Retreat, “A Time to Serve,” at Shippensburg University June 6-8.

 

During the month of June we are receiving our One Great Hour of Sharing Offering.  Our goal this year is $2,375.  Thus far we have received $1,150.  If you haven’t had the opportunity to contribute we hope you will this week by using one of the special offering envelopes that was included in the June newsletter.  Extras can be found in the chair racks in the sanctuary and at the Welcome Center.  Please help us reach our goal!

 

Supplies are needed for this year’s Vacation Bible School.  A list will be posted in the narthex this Sunday.  All supplies are due back next Sunday, June 29.

 

The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be held tomorrow (June 20) here at Grace from 1:00 to 6:00 P.M.  It’s not too late to make an appointment.  Call Linda Allmond, Sue Jenkins or the church office.  Give to save a life!
