Dear Friends,

 

This Sunday is Mother’s Day and we’ll be honoring our mothers during our morning worship service.  I’ll be sharing a message entitled “God’s Love and a Mother’s Love” based on Psalm 23.  We’ll also becollecting the Baby Manna Offering.  This important offering will help to feed local impoverished infants.  100% of the money collected will be used by the Greater Philadelphia Food Bank to purchase infant formula and baby food.  There will be a special envelope in your bulletin for your participation.

 

Also this Sunday we will dedicate a group of volunteers who will spend next week in New Jersey participating in the ongoing rebuilding efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.  Join us as we send them off with our prayers and best wishes for a safe and productive week!

On May 18, we will celebrate Music Sunday!  We’ll be recognizing all the musicians of our church and give special thanks for the contribution of their talents.  A special reception will be held after worship.  Also, the service of Infant Dedication will be celebrated.

 

The Annual Congregational Business Meeting will also be held on May 18, following our worship service.  The Annual Report will be distributed and new board members will be elected and other church business will be discussed.  Your participation is important and needed!
