This Sunday I’ll continue my message series on our new vision statement based on the word BECOME.  This week we’ll focus on the letter M which stands for, “Motivating All Participants to Serve” based on Mark 10:35-45.

 

Congratulations to Janiel and Monique Slowly who were baptized last Sunday!  It was wonderful to watch them publically commit themselves to Christ and the Church.  This Sunday the entire Slowly family; Mike, Marcia, Janiel and Monique, will be welcomed into our church membership.  You can read a little bit about them in the March issue of Grace Notes.

 

We’ve almost reached our Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering goal!  With just one week left, we’ve collected $2,410.00 toward our goal of $2500.00.  If you have not yet given, please do so this Sunday and help us surpass our goal.  Thank you!

 

Our young people will participate in the 30 Hour Famine for two days, starting this Friday, February 21^st.  They will be raising funds to fight hunger around the world and they need your help.  You can support their efforts to reach their goal of $840.00 by sponsoring them and making out a check to “Grace Baptist Church” and writing “30 Hour Famine” in the memo line.  Please help them “Release the Feast”!

 

A kid’s winter party will be held this Saturday, February 22^nd from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M. here at Grace Baptist.  All kids, ages 3-10 are invited to come and celebrate winter!

 

Sunday is going to be a beautiful day…maybe even in the 50s!  I hope you’ll join us for worship.
